Week one WITHOUT Dog​​

​

Do you have a reactive dog? Are they out of control at the end of a leash? Constantly engaging in negative behavior with other dogs or people? Then this is the class for you! As handlers you'll be guided in a safe environment through the use of positive reinforcement training, learning how to manage and/or modify unwanted behavior.

In a supportive, small-group setting, you'll learn how to:
• Understand what your dog’s behavior is communicating
• Use handling techniques that reduce tension and create calmness
• Support your dog in observing triggers without overreacting
• Begin reshaping your dog’s emotional response through thoughtful practice
You’ll leave this class with a deeper understanding of your dog and practical tools you can use in everyday life.

After our Ruff & Rowdy class, you will understand and recognize the cues your dog gives you prior to the out-of-control behavior so it can be managed effectively.
